Miss. Day qualified as a dental surgeon in 1986 from the University of Sofia in Bulgaria, arriving in Britain in 1990. From then until 1998, she worked within the Maxillo-Facial and Oral Surgery departments of a number of hospitals, holding the posts of Senior House Officer and Registrar.

In 1992, she was successful in passing the Statutory Entrance Examination for Overseas Dentists in the United Kingdom. The award of FFDRCS (Ireland) was to follow in 1994 along with an acceptance on to The General Dental Council’s Specialist List for Surgical Dentistry in 1998.

From 1998, Miss. Day worked as a part-time General Dental Practitioner in London whilst completing a Master of Clinical Dentistry degree in Prosthodontics. In November 2004, she completed her part-time clinical attachment to Guys Dental Hospital and successfully achieved a Masters in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) degree. This has gained her the additional registration of specialist in prosthodontics with the General Dental Council.

Dr. Day’s special areas of interest within dentistry include implants and full mouth reconstruction.
