Dr. Saffina Nanji qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2003 from Manchester University. She has since worked in general practice, community services and hospital settings, gaining a wide range of experience in all aspects of dental care whilst developing a specific interest in Periodontology and Conscious Sedation.

In 2006 she gained Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgeons, Royal College of Surgeons of England. She was also awarded her Certificate in Conscious Sedation from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in the same year.

Saffina is in the final stages of a 4 year training programme in Periodontology at Guy’s Hospital in London. This is due to end in June 2011, whereby she will qualify for inclusion in the General Dental Council’s Register as a Specialist in Periodontology.

Her practicing career is now limited to the diagnosis and management of periodontal conditions, and implant dentistry.
